I am an award winning Creative Director (Copywriter) from a little town you’ve never heard of in Queensland, Australia. I’ve made ads in Auckland and Amsterdam before moving back to where it all began, Melbourne.

The work I love to create is unapologetically bold, has a social conscience and, where possible, makes people smile. 

This year, I was part of the D&AD Creative Transformation Jury - career highlight. I’ve been recognised as a Cannes See It Be It delegate (2020/22) and in 2021, I took part in the Rare with Google Leadership Academy.

I am passionate about mental and holistic health. Creativity doesn’t come from a place of burnout and fear… While at AKQA in Amsterdam, I’ve co-founded a global employee resource group that worked to shift the industry culture to one that prioritises the collective wellbeing by sharing resources, hosting workshops and creating more open dialogues around neurodiversity and mental health.

Non-work Ellen: 
🏈 I played Aussie Rules (AFL) in Amsterdam. There’s only one women’s team in the Netherlands, which by default means I played at an international level.
📸 I love analogy photography, stand up comedy and adding books to my bookcase.
🍜 I use recipes as a vibe instead of rules.
🥑 I have a certificate in Integrative Nutrition and am still figuring out how this applies to my day job.
